3,500 scramble for service after Medicare plan withdrawn

ST. GEORGE – Seniors and other Medicare recipients throughout southwest Utah were scrambling Monday after learning that they would be losing their Medicare Advantage plans.

The MedAdvantage plans offered to Washington and Iron county residents through Regence BlueCross BlueShield are being withdrawn at the end of the year, as the some 3,500 customers living in those counties have been learning through the mail over the last week.
