21-day incubation period passes for Maine nurse who treated Ebola patients in Sierra Leone

FORT KENT, Maine — A nurse who said she defied quarantines on behalf of all health care workers returning from battling Ebola in West Africa is free and clear to begin the next chapter of her life.

With the 21-day Ebola incubation period now behind her Tuesday, Kaci Hickox and her boyfriend plan to move to southern Maine as soon as this weekend.
