More than 10,000 runners and walkers dressed in pink joined Portland's 25th annual Race for the Cure Sunday in an effort to fight breast cancer Sunday morning. Four times that many people die from breast cancer each year in the United States.

The race, a fundraiser for the Oregon and Southwest Washington chapter of Susan G. Komen, hopes to raise $1.1 million by the end of September.
