2015 marks 25th Anniversary of Iconic Image ‘The Pale Blue Dot’

On February 14, 1990, Voyager 1 took an iconic photo of our solar system that includes Neptune, Uranus, Saturn, Jupiter, Venus and Earth. The photo, which became famous with Pale Blue Dot, will have its 25th anniversary this year.

Voyager mission scientist, Ed Stone from the California Institute of Technology, said that it has been so many years, but then also the photo continues to inspire many about the small spot in space, which humans call their home.
