The nominations for the 86th Annual Academy Awards were announced on Thursday, Jan. 16, with American Hustle and Gravity leading the pack with 10 nods each. The Golden Globe-winning 12 Years a Slave, meanwhile, is being recognized in nine categories. As with every awards show, some predicted contenders were left off the list—and E!
