2 Snow Leopards Born In NYC

According to the Wildlife Conservation Society the Bronx Zoo in New York now has a pair of twin snow leopards added to its unique array of varied wildlife. The twin male cubs were born on May 6 2014 in the Himalayan Highlands exhibit to their first time parents. They made their official debut to the public just yesterday.

Officials noted that this is a special event because the leopards are reportedly some of the most endangered big cats in the world. At present there are only somewhere between 3,500 and 7,500 left in the world.
