AMMAN, Jordan — Two American contractors and a South African colleague were gunned down Monday at a U.S.-funded police training center in Jordan, according to U.S. defense officials and the Jordanian government.
Government spokesman Mohammad Momani said the attacker — a Jordanian police officer — was killed at the scene. Momani told the state-run Petra news agency that a South African national also died in the attack while two other Americans and four Jordanians were injured.
