One Direction's Zayn Malik is the latest artist to face backlash for pro-Palestinian remarks on Twitter, tweeting "#FreePalestine" on Sunday night. The tweet, which reached his more than 13 million followers, is still posted to his page and has been retweeted more than 150,000 times.
Naturally, a slew of fans got angry about the message, threatening to kill the boy bander and expressing their disgust, saying that he has "fans in #Israel. It broke me that one of my idols (want) me to die," according to the U.K.'s Mirror Online.
