160-million-year-old ‘dragon’ dinosaur discovered in China 

The Qijianglong, 'the Dragon of Quijiang,' was named for its mythical proportions -- with a neck half the size of the herbivore's body -- Canadian researchers said in a journal this week. The fossil was found in Quijiang in southern China by farmers in 2006.

Canadian paleontologists uncovered a new species of mythically-proportioned dinosaur that most likely lived more than 160 million years ago, according to their findings, published this week.
