13 Companies Paying Employees Higher Wages, Including Gravity Payments, McDonald's, Wal-Mart

NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- Big consumer companies are increasingly jumping on the bandwagon to raise employee pay. But now a small Seattle payments processing company, Gravity Payments, has taken the trend a step further.

On Monday, Gravity CEO Dan Price announced that he would take a 90% pay cut and raise all employee salaries to $70,000 -- the same paycheck he'll now get.
