12 killed as trains collide in India

New Delhi- As many as 12 people were killed and several others were severely injured as two express trains rammed into each other near Nandanagar railway crossing in Gorakhpur, officials said today.

The mishap occurred when Krishak Express, on its way from Varanasi to Gorakhpur, hit Barauni Express. Three bogeys of Barauni Express, which was on its way from Lucknow to Barauni, overturned due to the impact.
