Earlier this week, the Lee County Sheriff's Office in Florida received a call from a worried citizen, saying that a pit bull was on the loose, Tiffany Wood, the office's public information officer told The Huffington Post. The caller was concerned that the dog might possibly harm local children. Deputy Mark Elsaid went to investigate, and when he arrived at the scene, he discovered a "wonderful dog."
"He got out there and this dog seemed to be a loving family dog," Wood told HuffPost. "He didn't want to terrorize the neighborhood, he just got out of his gate, and just wanted to go and be friends with everybody."Read more
