China strengthens slaughter regulations to combat African swine fever

BEIJING (Reuters) - China’s agriculture ministry said on Wednesday that slaughterhouses will need to run African swine fever virus tests for pig products before selling them to the market, in a move to control spread of the highly contagious disease.
